Yeah I know what you mean, the extra chapters, extra weapons, extra modes, extra costumes, extra playable characters, extra enemies, online co-op, and across the board graphical upgrade was less than I was expecting. (sarcasm)
So these people expect me to believe that Halo: Reach only sold 1 million copies in its first week.
These numbers are a complete waste of time.
You want may critism here it is. It is taking you too long to make DOA5 for home consoles.
The camera in Ninja Gaiden, especially Sigma 1, is actually great. You just have to know when and how to move it. At high levels once you start fight multiple-enemies and constantly moving a dynamic camera is essential. NG/NGB/NGS did this wonderfully. With NG2/NGS2 they got carried away with the off-screen projectile, especially NG2. But a static camera would not make it any better.
I guess they don't want anybody to actually have the trailer to analyze should should MSFT send them another billion dollar check for a Versus multi-plat. The gaming community analyzed the crap out of every FFXIII trailer and screenshot and document every occurrence of decreased quality.
I still am leaning toward believe Versus to be a PS3 exclusive, but I can't believe anything SE says. Almost everything they have said this gen has proven to be a lie or a broken ...
I can't fault Microsoft for advertising their products. That is what you do if you want them to sell. MSFT paid SE for the marketing rights and MSFT used those rights after they bought them.
If Sony would get a decent marketing budget for some of its games they would have two or three 10 million sellers as well.
And Please don't make versus multi-plat.
They played themselves by not advertising the game.
But the article didn't a say anything about not returning the game to the PS3.
WHAT MUST WE DO TO GET DOA 5 PS3 AND/OR 360?
I guess we have to take them hostage.
I wonder how many copies DMC5 has to sell before they will turn a profit?
I must cosign as well. I have a PSP and I am getting VC2 and probably will get VC3 for it.
Still, I was hoping for a PS3 release.
I am beginning to think that Japan is forgetting how to sell console games. VC1 should have sold a million easily. That it did not is the height of marketing ineptness.
e is selling it but I am not buying.
If the game is truly made with no consideration across multiple platforms, then it will be something that can not be easily ported without making huge and noticeable compromises.
We will know soon enough, if Versus ever does goes multi-platform then the geeks will be all over it. If Versus is truly made with no consideration of a port being made then we are going to see a Bayonetta-like port. If we end with obvious c...
Where does it say that? Got a link?
Metal Gear Solid still third party exclusive.
I agree...The story is in the WHY. Why would they do this? What do they expect to gain?
Well I just hope that Versus doesn't go multi-plat. I am playing FFXIII right now and I see what everybody was talking about.
Minor Spoilers
I just made it to Grand Pulse and it is like I am playing a different game all of a sudden.
"Not at all. They're saying that while it's legal to buy used games, they actually lose money on each one sold. In order to remain profitable, they create DLC, which is optional, and create Online Passes for multipalyer used games."
So then are they going to allow us to buy a new game and deduct the cost of the multi-player if we don't want play online? Their goal is to deliberately diminish the re-sale value of the games, not to accurately collect mone...
Valkyria Chronicles, Demon's Souls.
I couldn't find them at my local Wal-Mart so I bought them a Gamestop. Not to mention the fact that with most other games Wal-Mart will not have them on the shelf until a couple of days after they release, whereas Gamestop will have for sale the first day that they are legal.
Wal-Mart will have the big titles like Call of Duty and Halo on day one, but if you want a smaller title on the day of its release then you a...
I agree,...until Uncharted 3 comes out.
But doesn't Gamestop NEED used game sales in order to keep the doors open. And in so doing, help grow the new game market buy offering exotic new games in more places than they would otherwise be located. Lots of good games never get offered at Wal-Mart and Best Buy.
I see the analogy.
The game develpers are trying to make the case that the only way to obtain their game should be directly from them. The game developers beef with used games is that people able to play their game without paying them for a another copy of it. According to their logic libraries are worse than Gamestop because you don't even have to buy the book. You can use it as much as you want and then pass it to the next person. If everybody did that then even used...
You get things like this when you let new studios pickup old, well-established intellectual property. The new developer/producer/director wants to do something to put their own mark on it. This happens in movies ALL the time.
Do you remember the last Superman movie, "Superman Returns". The genius directors decided that is was okay to let Lois Lane shack-up with some man other than Clark Kent/Superman. The went further and introduced a child from this relations...
